Dalam buku beliau banyak memuat kisah-kisah hikmah dari pasien yang ditangani jantungnya melalui operasi dan kisah-kisah hikmah lain dari pasien-pasien beliau. Ada pasien yang wafat dengan cara mengenaskan bahkan mengerikan, tetapi beliau juga sering menangani pasien berakhlakul karimah sehingga wafat dengan cara syahdu dan tawadhu pada Allah Subhanawata’ála.
Dan ini adalah salah satu kisah dalam buku beliau yang patut kita simak dan jadikan bahan renungan muhasabah pribadi.
